Wine Tasting Lunches

Following Christian Martray’s departure, Alain Gousse has recently arrived to take on the role of Head Sommelier, and with it, the continuation of our ever popular wine tasting lunches.

We propose a monthly meeting of one or several wine makers, in which they share their know-how and allow you to discover their best wines through a tasting. The morning wine tasting session is followed by a gastronomic lunch in the Albert 1er restaurant with the elaboration of a special menu in accordance with the winemaker’s wines, who will take pleasure in joining you at the table.

Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April 2014
OGIER Winery

Ogier

Being settled in Ampuis for a number of generations at the heart of the Côte-Rôtie vineyards, the winery of Stéphane and Michel Ogier is a story of family and passion.
Stéphane, who took over from his father, Michel in 1998, emulates a generation of young and ambitious winemakers and he is devoted to an exemplary level of winemaking,
whereby he reveals the typical elegance of the Côte-Rôtie appellation.  The Ogier winery belongs amongst the Rhone Valley elite and we are delighted to let you discover its aromatic,
silky and elegant wines that are completely devoted to the terroir.
