Heritage Discoveries

If you don't feel like all the members of your team are ready for athletic exploits (offering choices and dividing into groups can be a good option!), and if you have a legitimate desire to explore Chamonix and its surroundings, wander in the city center, stroll through the picturesque hamlets of the Valley, visit exhibitions, discover the Crystal Museum, the Heritage House, or take in the breathtaking panoramic view from the top of Aiguille du Midi, or even experience the "Step into the Void," don't hesitate! Chamonix has wonders to offer to contemplative walkers. There's plenty to satisfy even the most insatiable curiosity.

For this, you don't need to book a mountain guide or instructor, nor do you need to rent equipment! You just need to enlist the services of a good guide, passionate about history and heritage, with a cheerful disposition, eager to share their love for Chamonix and happy to answer any questions that each visit may raise.

Another way to get some fresh air while satisfying your desire to understand how Chamonix was born and evolved into one of the must-visit tourist spots. There are as many possible routes and visits as there are choices in sports activities. The guides recommended by the Hameau, whether they're named Christine Boymond Lasserre (tour guide) or Bernadette Tsuda (heritage guide), will create an ultra-personalized program of activities that will leave a lasting impression and create beautiful memories.
